Court to frame charges against Advani on Friday

The CBI’s special court, which held a daily hearing in the case of Babri’s demolition in 1992, charged six deputies of the deferred Sangh Parivar, while one of them appeared on Thursday. The court asked them to appear May 30 for the prosecution of the charges and said no further deferment would be allowed.
Six other saffron leaders – LK Advani, former Union Minister Murli Manohar Joshi, Minister of Unity, Uma Bharti, Vinay Katiyar MP, Sadhvi Rithambara and Vishnu Hari Dalmiya – would be accused of their role in the conspiracy behind the Demolition of Babri Masjid on Friday. Thursday Satish Pradhan appeared in court, claiming that charges should be made against him because he was ill and could not walk, while five accused – Nritya Gopal Das, Ram Vilas Vendanti, Baikunth Lal Sharma, Champat Rai Dharm Das – to have Requested an exemption.
